Rehabcorp Home Physiotherapy Physiotherapy Treatments

Our Physiotherapy Treatment Approach

When the body’s movement is dysfunctional and therefore the body is “out of alignment”, our physiotherapists prefer to use a "hands on" approach aiming to re-align and loosen, stiff and painful joints and ease muscle spasm.   This approach is used in conjunction with an active approach, prescribing and advising on exercises to assist in the restoration of alignment and function.  Following a detailed assessment of the client’s history, lifestyle, posture and movement our physiotherapists will also aim to identify the CAUSE of the problem and the most appropriate treatment techniques will be selected to treat the cause and to suit the client’s individual needs.  Our physiotherapists also advise you how to avoid the same problems or conditions in the future.
Treatment Techniques

The goal of our physiotherapist is to rehabilitate our clients to their best possible state of health whilst tailoring the treatment and rehabilitation regime to suit the needs of the client.  Therefore we provide a range of treatment options which are available to suit the specific needs of the client.  Our treatment repertoire include the following:
