Yoga Classes

Yoga Elements (beginner’s yoga) – Tuesday nights 5:30pm. Yoga Elements is recommended for new Yogi’s!

Emphasis is on alignment basics in standing and seated Yoga poses and relaxation through ‘pranayama’ breathing techniques. Students will improve flexibility, increase core strength and develop skills to relax both the body and mind.

Teacher profile

We would like to welcome the newest member to our team, Emma Hewitt-Smiles, our Yoga instructor.  Emma will be taking a 1-hour Yoga Elements class every Tuesday night at 5:30pm. 

Emma has been teaching for the past 2 years since completing a 270 hour Yoga Teacher certification course at Prague Yoga School in The Czech Republic. A student of Yoga for 6 years, Emma practices methods including Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, Iyengar and Bikram Yoga. She has taught in Prague, California, and currently at Zest Health and Fitness club in Adelaide. Emma has worked with people with injuries & designs her classes to accommodate for those who are injured or more senior in age. Emma likes to focus on the reflective and internal aspect of yoga. Yoga is more than the poses; it is a way of connecting with yourself and the moment.
